Cockenzie and Port Seton Children's Gala

Gala Queen

The 2023 Gala

The 75th Cockenzie and Port Seton Children's Gala was held on Saturday 20 May.

For the first time in the history of the Gala this year featured a Gala King in addition to the Gala Queen. Both were crowned by Dr Churn from the local Harbours Medical Practice. For the second year running, the fishing boats were unable to take part in the gala due to what appear to be extra conditions imposed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

The East Lothian Courier published a news item and a gallery of photographs on their website the following day.

Some photos from the 2023 Gala can be seen in a Flickr Album here.
